At the moment - I am working in a small local consultancy (TopTeam ApS). I believe they have some potential, and I could grow an engineering section in there with time. The company is doing a good job at finding clients. So there is a good potential for me to grow their company.

I often end up working with projects of extreme risk on extreme deadlines. I am the cheapest and fastest option… doing this - for experience.

The results are good and that generates a lot of respect from collogues. We get along extremely well. People ask me to teach them things, and volunteer to participate on their own initiative.

Even the clients which are “angry to pay” for the work, end up saying “that was something else, not just dumb metal like normally”.

So, while I do have a background working in EU megaprojects, the work I do at the moment helps small local businesses when they end up “in above their heads”.

200 page Ph.D. thesis was written on new material properties observed in sand…

In the process - testing machines were designed. Beams, gears, joints… mechanical components. Sensors - coded, attached. Micro controllers, power delivery systems - wired. The diploma is not the key… the key is the 3t heavy, 5m tall, 4m long, 3m wide CNC machine that was built in the process… and continues to function to this day.

I built the machines, and used them to observe new and unique physical properties in materials. Which then were modelled using parallel computation compatible unique models. Multiple research grade machines and components - that had to be invented, designed and then operated - during M.Sc., Ph.D. and Post Doc. :)
