In the process - testing machines were designed. Beams, gears, joints… mechanical components. Sensors - coded, attached. Micro controllers, power delivery systems - wired. The diploma is not the key… the key is the 3t heavy, 5m tall, 4m long, 3m wide CNC machine that was built in the process… and continues to function to this day.

As well as other research grade machines and components - that had to be invented, designed and then operated - during the Ph.D. and the Post Doc. :)
