Custom attachment.

3D printing can be useful for making various custom fitted attachments.

For warehouses, shops, etc… The example shown is a piece fitted on a crane for holding a motor of a vibrating rod. This one is made out of ASA. It worked remarkably well.

Some plastics are stronger than others. Some more heat resistant, some more chemically resistant. Others more soft and durable. I can design anything fitting on anything, as long as you can provide the dimensions for it. And help you select the best materials for the application. Naturally, higher performance plastic is more expensive. Materials for this one cost me about 15 EUR. Top performance plastic (ULTEM) would make it cost 100 EUR. But it would be nearly as strong aluminum.

This example took me about 3h to design. And 20h printing. Also I ended up inserting some metal reinforcement into it using a plastic welder.
